Invoking Sedona – Vishali Shahin

Many people are drawn to Sedona for all it offers. It evokes a very sacred feeling as you experience its wonders. From the moment you are in the presence of the red rocks of Sedona, you may feel the sense of awe in the majesty that surrounds you. A palpable sense of peace and connection enfolds you.

Sedona is renowned as a spiritual center with powerful energy vortexes also pronounced vortices.  Vortexes are spiritual energy spots found around the world.  The ancient people who lived in the area, never actually lived in Sedona, because they felt it was too sacred. They came to this remarkable place as the site for their ancient ceremonies and prayer rituals. We come here as they did, for healing, ceremony, and reconnection with ourselves and each other.

At one point in our lives, we would experience the “fight or flight” response to our environment, alerting us as to whether we felt safe or not. The tiger would come, we would respond appropriately and then we would go back to a baseline at rest. In this modern world, it seems as if EVERYthing is a tiger; no longer are we responding to our environment appropriately. Without going into the myriad reasons from politics to climate change, we find ourselves almost constantly and sometimes even unconsciously on edge. 

Even people who are spiritually oriented, if we are truly honest with ourselves, know how easy it can be to find that issue which still triggers us, leaving all our spiritual awareness in the dust.

The energies of Sedona naturally takes us inward. For some of us, being in Sedona is the first time we “turn within”, creating in people a tangible experience of transformation. For many people their intentions come to fruition just by being here for a short time. One reason is, for the first time, we find ourselves with the support of the energy here, which relaxes us inwardly enough to “reboot” and let go of what was seen to be in the way. Once people are back home, they find life is flowing more easily and has more clarity to it.

Ancient and contemporary enlightened beings have always said we are one energy, literally, and now Quantum Physics has proven this. There is no separation between us and our perceived world.  As we come to be in the energy of Sedona, we find ourselves more in alignment with this reality, our authentic self. We entrain with the vortexes here, coming more in resonance to what is most important in our lives and to who we really are spiritually.

Sedona is a perfect place to come and reconnect with yourself. There are so many powerful places on this earth, Sedona is unique in its beauty and power to uplift us, bringing us closer to ourselves and our true home within.
